Nursery and Primary Teacher Training

Nursery and Primary Teacher Training (NPTT) program is a one-year certification course. Through this comprehensive and impactful course we strive to create able, caring and compassionate teachers for the growing needs of the children of the 21st century.

It provides both personal and professional training, addressing holistic development. The emphasis is on continuous learning and self-discovery. Teachers are nurtured to be knowledgeable, adaptable and creative .

Trainee teachers undergo training in the use of activity-based learning and child-responsive pedagogy. A clear focus is on enhancing key skills like creativity ,communication and pedagogy which are essential for effective teaching.

It follows an apprenticeship model. Teachers spend at least three hours every day in the classroom from the very first day. The course strikes a balance between theory and practice. Learning is enriched as the trainee teachers acquire teaching skills by being with children and watching experienced teachers at work.

Regular seminars and workshops are conducted by experts in the educational field. They document all the practical learning in a portfolio. Overall, it is an enriching training programme which gives an edge as the future teachers are trained in classroom environments with the children, by the teachers.
